Andrés Magai Seibt es fotógrafo, periodista y viajero. Miembro español del SanDisk Extreme Team durante 5 años, un grupo de élite de fotógrafos profesionales seleccionados por su particular visión del medio ambiente. Disfruta del mundo de la fotografía desde su juventud, ha conseguido convertir su hobby en un estilo de vida. Un viajero incansable, apasionado por la naturaleza salvaje, la aventura y el conocimiento de las diferentes culturas.
Nacido en Lima - Perú - pero español de nacionalidad, en la actualidad reside en Madrid -España - desde donde prepara sus contínuas salidas fotográficas a sus múltiples destinos.
Dispone de un amplio archivo de imágenes de sus viajes culturales, de interés social, de naturaleza y de vida salvaje, archivo que se va ampliando de forma contínua. Con una amplia experiencia en este tipo de viajes, organiza cursos, charlas, WorkShops y Talleres fotográficos de una amplia variedad temática, destacando los talleres relacionados con la temática viajera, y de naturaleza sin olvidar los Talleres-Safaris para fotógrafos profesionales y aficionados, en diferentes localizaciones de África, América y Europa.
Con un archivo de más de 700.000 imágenes, tiene fotografiada una gran parte de lugares, gentes y fauna del planeta. En todo tipo de situaciones, desde la gran migración de ñúes que todos los años tiene lugar de Tanzania a Kenya, hasta sobrevolando los Alpes en globo.
Así mismo dispone de un amplio archivo de imágenes tomadas en diferentes ciudades y localizaciones europeas, africanas, asiáticas y americanas, además de un amplio catalogo de fotografías de España.
Especializado en el Mundo de la Aviación, destaca sus fotografías relacionadas con el mundo de los globos aerostáticos y los aviones, especialmente las Fotografías Nocturnas de Aviones, fundador con el fotografo Fernando Yubero del Proyecto Alas en la Noche.
Co-autor con Rafa Márquez del libro Cuaderno de África, es el primer libro que se escribe y publica en España en el que se trata de una forma completa el mundo de la fotografía y los safaris.
Sus trabajos han sido publicados en un gran número de revistas de naturaleza, de viajes, así como e información general. Siendo en la actualidad colaborador de diferentes revistas como es el caso de Paraísos, Rutas del Mundo, Clio, Ronda Iberia, Súper Foto, así como en programas de radio. Andrés Magai es Director de la revista de viajes OnLine www.fotoviajes.net.
Trabaja principalmente con cámaras digitales principalmente LUMIX en formatos m4/3 , con ópticas desde el 8mm hasta objetivos de 400mm f.4, incluyendo opticas Samyang, Tamron y como soporte para la captura de imágenes utiliza tarjetas Lexar. y trípodes de la marca Vanguard.

Andrés Magai Seibt is a photographer, journalist and adventurer. He was part of the Spanish SanDisk Extreme Team, an elite group of professional photographers selected for their particular vision of the environment.
Enjoying the world of photography since his youth, Andrés has managed to turn his hobby into a lifestyle. He is a tireless traveler, with a passion for wilderness, adventure and discovery of different cultures.
Born in Lima – Perú, but with Spanish nationality, Andrés lives between Madrid and Barcelona, Spain, from where he plans out his numerous photographic journeys to a wide range of exotic and interesting places on the planet.
As a result, Andrés manages an impressive and continuously growing photo library (700,000+ photographs) covering a wide selection of themes, ranging from cultural journeys to social interest, people, nature and wildlife. European, African, Asian as well as American cities have all been carefully documented by this talented photographer who also dedicates a lot of his time to his country of adoption : Spain.
Eager to share his extensive experience in this type of travel, Andrés organizes each year various Photo-Safari workshops for professional and amateur photographers alike, taking them to various places across Africa, America and Europe. Let us mention his annual expeditions to cover the great Wildebeest migration though Tanzania and Kenya, that have always enjoyed a great success.
Specializing in the World of Aviation, he highlights his photographs related to the world of balloons and airplanes, especially the Airplanes Night Photography.
Co-authored with Rafael Marquez, “Cuadernos de Africa,” is the first book written and published in Spain, extensively covering the world of photography and safaris.
His work has been published in a large number of magazines of nature, travel, as well as general information.
At present, Andrés is a regular contributor to Paraisos magazine, Rutas del Mundo, Clio, Ronda Iberia, Super Foto, and to newspapers’ travel supplements; he also participates in various radio programs.
Andrés mainly works with LUMIX digital cameras in m4/3 formats, in addition to different brands of compact cameras, with lenses from 8 mm up to 400mm f.4 and always with LEXAR memory cards and Vanguard Tripods.

Mit einer Bilddatenbank von über 700.000 Bilder, hat er eine Menge von Orten, Menschen und Tiere auf dem Planeten fotografiert. Er erlebt die große Migration der Gnus in Afrika, den mächtigen Amazonas oder man kann ihn auch über den Alpen in einem Heissluftballon fliegen sehen.
Er besitzt auch ein umfangreiches Archiv von Bildern in verschiedenen Städten und Standorten in Europa, Afrika, Asien und Amerika, sowie einem umfangreichen Katalog von Aufnahmen in Spanien.
Spezialisiert auf die Welt der Luftfahrt, hebt er seine Fotografien im Zusammenhang mit der Welt der Ballons und Flugzeuge, vor allem die Flugzeugnacht Fotografie.
Co-Autor des Buches "Cuadernos de Africa", ist es sein erstes selbstgeschriebenes Buch, in Spanien veröffentlicht, in denen er den kompletten Weg in die Welt der Fotografie und Safaris beschreibt.
Seine Werke sind in vielen Zeitschriften der Natur, Reisen und allgemeine Informationen veröffentlicht worden. Darunter befinden sich verschiedene spanische Zeitschriften wie Paraísos, Rutas del Mundo, Clio, Ronda Iberia, Super Foto und im Radio.
Er arbeitet vor allem mit LUMIX Digitalkameras im Format m4/ 3, mit Optik von 8mm bis 500mm f.2,8. Als Unterstützung für die Bilderfassung mit LEXAR-Karten.
